The aim of the project is:
to treat the sectional themes defined by the Framework Educational Plan for the Basic Education in order to produce materials and handouts (work-sheets for the pupils, methodical materials for the teachers) that may be used in the classwork.

The target group of the project are:
teachers
pupils of the 6.th till 9.th class           

Starting situation:
The project deals the problem of the sectional themes and their concrete integration into the School Educational Programme. Sectional themes are a bit neglected topic that hasn´t been defined closely in any document yet. The school public lacks a compact and concrete recommendations how to deal the sectional themes within the educational process and how to work with them efficiently. Nevertheless, by means of the sectional themes it is possible to develop comprehensively  the key competencies of the pupils.
We have the resolution!! Our  project concentrates on this issue.

The sense and the process of the project:
Within the project three work groups were built, each of which is obliged to work out 6 projects. All the projects will contain subjects and topics attaching the sectional themes. The next step is to prepare manuals for the projects‘ realization and other materials for the teachers and pupils (work-sheets, evaluation questionnares, information resources etc.). Four projects are intended for the particular classes of the Second School Degree (6.th till 9.th class), two projects cover up the whole Second School Degree. Those topics that don’t appear in the projects will be compiled into methodical materials incl. supplements in order to integrate them succesfully into particular school subjects.
            The project partners (Basic Schools) check the new documents within the classwork and afterwards they propose some changes or modifications of the checked materials. Their experience, suggestions and evaluation of the particular activities will be the basis of the final materials‘ image. The outputs will be distributed among the wide school public.
           
Current information:
At present the particular materials attaching the sectional themes have been finished and have been passed through the evaluation that was made by the partner schools. Now, the work-groups‘ members analyse the results and outputs of the evaluation and try to work up all of the suggestions. At the same time educational programmes for the further education have been prepared. After their finishing the programmes will be accredited by the Ministry of Education and offered among the wide school public.

The partner schools evaluate the conspicuous materials and documents (work-sheets, evaluation questionnares etc.), they don’t have to pay for the trainings and seminars that are set up within the project, they have the possibility to participate in the preparation of the materials and handouts.
